By accessing or using the Meridian Veil website, creating an account, purchasing a dataset, or downloading any materials, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Acceptance occurs through:

• Creating an account
• Checking a box indicating agreement during checkout
• Purchasing or downloading a dataset
• Otherwise accessing or using the Services

2. Description of Services

Meridian Veil provides curated, structured datasets derived from public and proprietary sources ("Datasets"), delivered digitally to business and organizational customers.

Services may include:

• Dataset downloads
• Account management
• Documentation and metadata
• Updates or revisions to datasets (if offered)

Meridian Veil does not provide legal, financial, or compliance advice.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity conducted under your account
• Ensuring account information is accurate and current

Accounts may not be shared between unrelated organizations or resold.

4. Purchases and Payments

• All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe).
• Meridian Veil does not store full payment card details.

Taxes

Prices exclude any applicable taxes, including sales tax, VAT, or use tax. You are responsible for any taxes imposed by your jurisdiction unless Meridian Veil is legally required to collect them.

5. Refund Policy

Because datasets are digital goods delivered immediately upon purchase, all sales are final.

Refunds may be issued solely at Meridian Veil's discretion in cases of:

• Duplicate charges
• Technical failure preventing dataset access

6. Dataset License

All datasets are licensed, not sold. Use of any dataset is governed by the Dataset License Agreement, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Circumvent access controls or download restrictions
• Attempt to reverse engineer delivery mechanisms
• Scrape, redistribute, or resell datasets except as permitted by license
• Use the Services in violation of applicable laws

8. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, dataset structure, compilation, and documentation are the exclusive property of Meridian Veil or its licensors.

No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

9. Availability and Modifications

Meridian Veil may:

• Modify or discontinue Services
• Update datasets
• Change these Terms with notice

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Services and datasets are provided "as is" and "as available."

Meridian Veil disclaims all warranties, including:

• Accuracy
• Completeness
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Meridian Veil shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the dataset giving rise to the claim

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meridian Veil from claims arising out of:

• Your use of datasets
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of applicable laws

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Wyoming, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.

15. Privacy

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Dataset License Agreement and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Meridian Veil.
